Felix Wurman's creation and design of the Church of Beethoven was born of a culmination of years of experience as a chamber,
orchestral musician and performer, coupled with his life long interest of bringing the music he cherished to audiences from all
walks of life.
Felix purchased the web domains names for Church of Beethoven for his birthday, on 10/27/2007 and premiered his first
Church of Beethoven performance on 2/10/2008, at The Filling Station, in Albuquerque, NM.
Within the year, Felix and The Church of Beethoven were featured on National Public Radio on November 15, 2008.

Felix intended for the Church of Beethoven to flourish in many communities
and we remain committed to helping his vision to be realized.
Our directors have come on board from various walks of life,
but have in common a shared inspiration of Felix' vision to bring
great music and art to people in a different and accessible way,
and as a means to build community through culture.
